COMPOSER, PIANIST, AND YOUNG STEINWAY ARTIST THOMAS NICKELL RETURNS TO THE MUSIC AT SAVIOR SERIES ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, 2019

Composer, pianist, and Young Steinway Artist Thomas Nickell returns to the Music at Savior Series on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 7:00 PM for a concert featuring works by Philip Glass and Franz Liszt, as well as one of his own compositions. Since last performing in the series in 2015, Mr. Nickell, now 21 years old, has gained praise from critics worldwide for his “technical mastery, the ability to respond with individuality to a musical score, and the ability to express that response with conviction.” --Rorianne Schrade, New York Concert Review.

The Music at Savior Series, now in its twelfth year, came about as the result of a the donation to the church of a Baldwin grand piano by Cosmo Buono of the Alexander & Buono Foundation. Since its inception in 2007, the series has featured more than fifty artists. William Vollinger, Music Director for Church of the Savior, oversees the series.

There is no charge for admission, but a freewill offering will be taken.
