GALINA MOERDLER JOINS BOARD OF ADVISORS OF
THE ALEXANDER & BUONO FOUNDATION
The Alexander & Buono Foundation is pleased to welcome Galina Datskovsky Moerdler to its Board of Advisors. A self-described “serial entrepreneur” Dr. Moerdler, is an internationally recognized information governance, privacy, compliance, security and artificial intelligence expert.
Currently the CEO of Vaporstream, she was previously the SVP of Information Governance at Hewlett-Packard Autonomy, and General Manager of the Information Governance Business Unit, as well as SVP of Architecture while at Computer Associates Technologies.
A student of Cosmo Buono and earlier the late David Bradshaw, Dr. Datskovsky has distinguished herself as a proponent of American piano music and an enthusiastic supporter of its performance. She has in recent months devoted her recitals almost exclusively to works by composers whom she feels deserve the attention of broader audiences. Her concerts at The Alexander & Buono Festival in Italy and New York introduced seldom-heard works by Gottschalk and Joplin, whose works she also presented as part of her Carnegie Hall recitals.
